Bristol Cabins

Description: The Bristol Cabins resort offers a variety of lodging options for tourists and other visitors, including a selection of historic cabins and several unique camping options. The Lava Hot Springs area is well known for its tourist attractions, such as world-famous natural hot-springs, an Olympic class swimming pool, and renowned river tubing. Bristol Cabins provides a comfortable, convenient place to rest up and recoup between river tube runs and soaks in the hot springs, as well as a unique experience that can provide a peaceful and down-to-earth contrast to the hustle and bustle of downtown. There are currently four cozy, historic single-room cabins available, maintained and renovated for safety and comfort but structurally and visually almost entirely as they were when they were built in the early 1900s. There are also several natural, secluded camping spots, several more formal and located in the main area of the property and several of which are basic and natural open spaces further excluded from the hub of Bristol. These camping spaces are located on either the mountain trails that snake up from the Bristol property, or down next to the winding bank of the Portneuf River. Our newest pride and joy are several custom-designed “tent-cabins” that bring a balance between the comfort of a cabin and the beauty of camping in the outdoors.
